Mistakes Were Made: an exhibition project organized by John Miller and Aura Rosenberg within The School of Realism of Kiev Biennal 2015, the project presented in Modern Art Research Institute National Academy of Ukraine (MARI).
Mistakes Were Made presents the works of a multigenerational group of artists whom John Miller and Aura Rosenberg have collaborated in the past or maintain regular dialogue.
The paintings, photographs and moving images included in the
exhibition elicit a disquieting effect that Miller and Rosenberg attribute to a troubled process of representation.
The exhibition develops from the Bad Conscience project presented at Metro Pictures gallery (New York) in 2014. The exhibition opened at MARI will include number of Ukrainian artists.
