Artcult Foundation became co-organizer of the visit to Ukraine of Dieter Roelstrate, one of the curators of the future documenta 14 (Kasel, 2017), the most authoritative artistic forum in the world
Curator of the future dOCUMENTA14 on a professional visit to Ukraine for the first time
Dieter Roelstrate, member of the curatorial team of the future dOCUMENTA14, one of the most prominent contemporary art forums, comes to Ukraine on a professional visit. Invited by the independent curatorial collective of Lizaveta German and Maria Lanko, Mr Roelstrate will have a series of meetings with Ukrainian artists and professional communities in Kyiv and Lviv. During his one-week stay in Ukraine, curator will conduct a research of Ukrainian art scene, visit studios, museums and art institutions and meet cultural managers and journalists. He will also give an open public talk.
The curator’s talk will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 1.00 p.m. at Kyiv Academy of Media Arts (80 Dmytrievska Str.). During the talk Mr. Roelstrate will focus on his curatorial practice at the Museum of Contemporary Art MuKHA in Anwerpt and Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as his work within dOCUMENTA14 team. The talk will be conducted in English.
