Professor Edward Clarke's lecture course will open An Initiation into the Mysteries of Western Art.

Cherwell College Oxford and M17 CAC are pleased to announce the launch of this international education project. The ARTСult Foundation is a partner of the event.

The project is to be opened with a lecture by Professor Edward Clarke on the Ashmolean Museum, to be held on July 8, 2021, as part of the International Collectors' Forum at M17 CAC. The lecture will explore the history of the world-famous museum's origins in 17th-century collections, and take a deeper look at the journey of the collection's creation, starting with John Tradescant and Elias Ashmole.

The international project will launch an online lecture course this autumn.

The involvement of Oxford and Cambridge professionals in the educational platform promises many interesting events, lectures, and courses for Ukrainian art lovers.

This is a bright start to fruitful cooperation and a new step in the educational level of the Ukrainian audience.
