On 15th December 2021 at 7 p.m., the exhibition Year Zero. The Idea of Light at M17 Contemporary Art Center is opening. This is the third and final part of Victor Sydorenko’s interdisciplinary project All Colors of the Spectrum is White Light, which covers the artist’s works in various genres — painting, photography, video art, installations and sculptures — for more than 25 years.

For the first time, the collector's exhibition covers a time span from the end of the 1950s to the beginning of the decade of this century, up to the 2010s. In addition, the exhibition brings together in one space different artistic movements: works of many participants of this exhibition were selected by the expert committee of the Centre Pompidou, and received as a gift from Ukrainian collectors for inclusion in the permanent collection of the museum - 164 works are now in Paris.
